So it's been a while since I've blogged here, so what has happened since the last post?
I finally had "relations" (LOL) with the boy. Yes I actually met up with him face to face! Shocking I know, it's only taken 18 months since he came back into my life to make it happen! He has changed a lot, still kisses the same and still wants to rush everything, but was happy most of the time to just cuddle and hold me, cos I got a big case of the jitters! I got over them eventually and we were having a good time, then ... damn new medication made him sick, literally. Luckily not over me, cos it was the most inopportune time I can tell you. So that was the end of that. I have since learned, cos he went of the communication radar for 3 months after that, that he was hospitalised. The reason being that he lost too much weight, or so he says.
I don't know what to believe at present. He says he wants to be with me, but has made no move to get to Melbs at all. He isn't working at present by choice, and there is nothing holding him in Sydney either. I honestly don't know what the hold up is!
As this is the year I hot my 40th Birthday, I have decided to go to Canada to visit the other boy. I have sounded him out, and he seems keen. So I will see how things pan out, my tax return may be the air fare.

Birthday Happenings....
The new garden/lawn mower person turned up yesterday to do the lawns. This morning I was running late and got a knock on the door, and it was the tradies to fix the pelmet in my room, fix the toilet (which had started to leak again in a different spot to last time) and to install an exhaust fan for the bathroom. Good thing I was running late, as I had no idea they were coming today. In fact I was going to put in a maintenance request when I got to work! So I'll see what had happened when I get home.
The Chocolate High Tea and the overnight stay ion the city were great! We should do a High Tea when you come down next time. In the end there were 5 other and me, which made for a nice group actually. They all got together and got me a $90 Spotlight Gift Card too! We spent the entire 2 hours of the high tea talking and eating and drinking. I had a Mocha Coffee to start then had 2 pots of tea and a glass of sparkling too! Needless to say I didn't drink anymore tea for the rest of the weekend!
We wall walked down to where I was staying for the night, to check it out. The room was lovely and just what I wanted. We all then went downstairs to the DFO and the shopping commenced! LOL!! After all that my feet were super sore, lucky I didn't have far to go! Had planned to go out for dinner by myself, but decided to order in room service. I had a bath and was all relaxed and dreamy, then had dinner and watched a movie, then went to sleep! The next day I had a leisurely shower, re-packed my bag & checked out. I took myself off to have pancakes for breakfast then home.
I then needed to go to the supermarket and get some stuff for the week, so decided I needed to go to Spotlight too. I bought some lovely kimono style materials (which I will take a foto of later) and some other materials. I still have some money on it too!

Been A while
So it's been a while since I posted on here. There has been a lot going on and then again it seem like nothing too.
Work was really busy right till I went away for my Christmas break. went to Sydney at the beginning of December for a work "Training" day and to attend their Christmas/End of Year lunch. Work picked up the tab for everything, but I got the feeling they were gearing up for something later on. It hasn't hit yet, but I'm sure they want something from us, maybe it was because we suddenly become part of an International CSR Team? Who knows! I got more and more stressed as we got closer to the cut off date, mainly due to Simon not doing his job properly, and taking his time to do things he knew needed to be done earlier! I think, wait, I know I yelled at him daily, I even told him to go away on a couple of occasions. I wasn't the only one who was frustrated and stressed by him either. In fact I think the entirety of the office were.
We had a great Christmas lunch at MaHa Bar & Grill, and after drinks at Bar Humbug! I left the party at around 8.30pm, but some kept going until the wee hours of the morning. It took me an hour and a half to get home too. I fell asleep and the train changed destinations mid journey, so I had to get off and back track. I didn't end up packing my suitcase till 1am or so the next morning. I had an early flight too.
Got to Sydney and made my way to Macquarie Centre to meet up with Simone for lunch. It was great catching up, although it was hard to keep the conversation going some of the time. Then I was on a bus to Parramatta, so I could check in to my accommodation. It was a nice serviced apartment, that was split level and air conditioned! It also had a big spa bath in it too!

You are now disconnected ... Please try again ...
So life has been ... well ... disconnected for the last little while. Don't know if it's due to all the babies being born to friends, the boy messing around some more, or just general "It's that time of year" feeling. Whatever it is, I don't like it, not at all.
I missed this months Stitch 'n' Bitch and will miss next months too. I just can't face the A factor anymore. I know that's bad 'cos she is a constant, but I'm over being belittled for my opinions about craft/quilting/beading etc. I have as much skill if not more than her in certain area's, and her dismissive comments are more than I can handle at present. I know in my head that I shouldn't let it affect me, but it does none the less. Have been crafting/sewing at home and finishing projects left right and centre! Am off to dinner next Friday with The Bead Shack girls, then the Craft Fair on the Saturday. Am hoping to get into the resin Bangle workshop and maybe a bead one too.

Times Are Changing.
Well there has been a little drama in the office of late.
I went to Sydney for the weekend a couple of weeks ago, and came back to a re-structure of the Sales Teams. A new Sales Rep, and a semi-demoted Sales Rep, and 2 newly created AE positions. Then the drama unfolded, as one AE was promoted over another. So this made for some discussions and resulted in the AE leaving rather abruptly. So the up shot is that we now need to hire 4 new AEs.
The physical office is also having a re-structure too. We have lost our large kitchen space, it has now been reduced to a galley Kitchen. Not happy about that, we were all enjoying sitting away from our desks for lunch! We have also gained 2 new walls at the front to block out most of the people traffic walking past our doors. I don't think it will stop delivery guys & such just lobbing into the office, which I suspect was part of the reason.
